You are right that there are several teams who could win the 8th. I just don't see why you have North ranked so high when Owen beat them last year and have everyone back.

They have been playing football a very long time. Not sure how long but at least 45 years.

Owen also beat North Oldham 57-51 last season. Since Owen County lost no one from last year's team, I wouldn't say that North Oldham is better than Owen.

Actually Owen County beat Walton-Verona twice last season. They beat them at Owen 56-48 and then again at the Bearcat's Senior night 45-40.

Owen County improves their record to 3-0. This is the best start Owen County has had in many, many years.

I have taken my kids off the field due to lightning that was ignored by everyone else and I have told a youth coach how it was gonna be regarding heat and water breaks. He told me he was trying to toughen the boys up (age 9-10). I told him he was going to kill them and that if the high school didn't practice my son wouldn't be there and he would have water whenever he wanted it. My kids were extremely embarrassed but parents have got to step up and protect their kids.

Hoop Dreams ended up advancing to final 16 in Championship bracket. They are also coached by Matthew Perry.

Region 8 semis were postponed until 1-25. Finals are scheduled for 1-26. (Weather permitting of course).

Thanks for all the advice it has been very helpful. I knew less about this than I thought I did. Did you all know that there are even reviews of camcorders on youtube? I'll let you all know what we end up getting and how it performs.

Our school is looking to buy a new camera to record football games from a pressbox. Anyone have any advice. If possible please include an approximate cost of your suggestion. Also if there are any that we should stay away from I would appreciate that info too. Thanks.
