I agree with Clyde; give everyone a day of rest. I wish it was a KHSAA policy. I do have to disagree that Boone is one of the most conservative counties in the state. Where I live Wednesday night games are a frowned upon rarity due to Wednesday night prayer meeting.

I can't believe that WV wouldn't get pumped up to play Owen County. These teams have been huge rivals since the players were little girls.

I would have to put Stone Osborne from Owen Co in the top 10 of the 8th Region. He was on the All 8th Region team last year can't understand how he got overlooked on this.

He can play up as the middle school schedule allows for now. In our area middle school bball starts in the fall or as soon as football is over for the football players and it is over before Christmas so after that he can focus on the high school team.

School policy and he likes playing with his good friends who he has played with for the past 6 years.

North has some very good players but IMO there is no heavy favorite to win the 8th region. Several contenders at this point.

He got a nice and one dunk against Carroll.

Win, lose or draw next Friday night, the Rebels and the entire community have had a dream season. Going 10-0, winning the district by a land slide, winning a play-off game, breaking several school records, police escorts into town, pep rallies, parades, special dinners, several tv reports, 10-0 tee shirts, fireworks, helicopters, standing room only at games etc.. These boys have special memories that no one will ever take away. And I wouldn't count them out yet.

No upsets in Owenton tonight. Rebels dream season continues!
