Final from Owenton.

Not a surprise, but nice job by Owen County of putting to rest questions about their ability. Some had them losing tonight. But next week will be tougher...

Congrats to Owen County.

No upsets in Owenton tonight. Rebels dream season continues!

No surprise here at all.

I'm not surprised either; congratulations to the Rebels and good luck next week against Holy Cross.

Congrats to the Rebels. The other 3 teams in tbe district failed to score in their playoff games.

Congrats Owen!

Way to go, Rebels!

Nice job Coach Fowler and the Rebels.

Of course their game next week will be tougher, just like every other team in the state. That is usually how playoffs work...

No upsets in Owenton tonight. Rebels dream season continues!

I'm afraid their dream season turns into a nightmare next Friday night.

Congrats Owen County Rebels! 11 - 0 and rolling.

I'm afraid their dream season turns into a nightmare next Friday night.

Win, lose or draw next Friday night, the Rebels and the entire community have had a dream season. Going 10-0, winning the district by a land slide, winning a play-off game, breaking several school records, police escorts into town, pep rallies, parades, special dinners, several tv reports, 10-0 tee shirts, fireworks, helicopters, standing room only at games etc.. These boys have special memories that no one will ever take away. And I wouldn't count them out yet.

I'm afraid their dream season turns into a nightmare next Friday night.

I don't think so as much; after seeing both play, I really like Owen's chances. I believe the Rebels advance to the quarter finals, as I predicted a week or so after they played Bellevue.
