What happened? The "#1 post player" scored 8 points and Owen's post, Williams, scored 23

Well, I wasn't aware Sawyer had moved from forward to center (which, I'm inferring from your post, he has) which is the reason why I personally considered Rowan to the top center in the region in previous comments... When the season began, and I looked at the "centers" out there, I felt Rowan was the best. I thought Williams was staying at forward.

Sawyer's a fantastic forward, with superb mobility and offensive moves - and that's all based on what I saw from him LAST year. I'm really looking forward to seeing him in Owenton next week when the Rebels play Oldham County. It will be my first chance to see him this year.

Whether you like Rowan or Williams better in the post is probably more a matter of taste - both are superb players - but comparing Rowan and Williams simply based on points scored really isn't valid, anyway, for three major reasons... 1) Rowan performs a much different function for NO than Williams does for Owen, so comparing points is, forgive the pun, "pointless"...North doesn't look for Rowan to even be the leading scorer, whereas Williams is option #1 for the Rebels... 2) Williams has a supporting cast that is doing a better job of getting him the ball in scoring position, and - more importantly - 3) Rowan has been battling rather severe health problems all year. He spent much of the off-season in the hospital, and is frankly still struggling to get to 100%. He's come a long, long way back to get to where he's at... Although he is averaging 11 ppg / 11 rebounds, he has sometimes been a shadow of what we saw last season.
