I saw on an earlier post that the Henry County Bowl has Trimble County vs Atherton. Does'nt sound great, but if I am not mistakin Trimble Countys new head coach just came from Atherton. Should be interesting.

Middle School ball and High School Ball is totally different from preparation, game planning, schemes, etc. Not saying some middle school coaches wouldnt do a good job, but success at the middle school level definitely doesnt mean success at the high school level.

Lonnie Oldham way under achieved at Oldham. Not many people will say he did fine.

I have to agree! If he only had been Head coach for a couple years and was like 2-18 or something, then that is better than being head for 4-5 years and averaging 1 win a year. You have to be able to build something at a school in 3-4 years and start winning. Who knows though. :confused:

Looks like the easy hire to me! Nothing against Welch or anything, but just looks like they made the easiest hire possible. Not meaning it to be negative or positive, just stating my opinion.

I would assume all Jefferson County schools have the same pay scale. One would think!

Dont know much about the school, but I guess your right. Who knows what they are going to do.

Really? Dang. Big day for people leaving their coaching jobs!!!!! I will start a new thread for it.

According to the KHSAA website, Walton-Verona is now looking for a Head Football Coach. Thats 2 thats opened today!

According the JCPS website, Iroquois High School is looking for a Head Football Coach.

I am glad they have somebody and hope they do well. It will be good for the players to finally have somebody in place.

Who is Eddie Creech? Age, experience, current coaching position etc?

Who knows. Last week somebody on here said a coach had been chosen, so I figured they would have officially named him by now.

Everything has went quite on Trimble. Maybe they are having to find more candidates!

Very interesting information! Who knows what is going on. They still havent even announced a coach and already teachers are getting let go to free up space.
