I would think if CCH and Cooper are set to meet in the finals the fave pre tourney would be the one that avoided Dixie. The potential back to back Dixie then CCH or Cooper would be a tall task.

Almost every game I watch if I have a rooting interest I remember the 50/50 calls that go against the team I am rooting for. I rarely remember a 50/50 call that goes my way. Naturally about half probably go my way. I am guessing that a lot of non CCH fans want to see them lose more often than not leading some to believe they get a favorable whistle.

So they just make it up as they go? Kind of dumb. Why not just put in a rule that if you spike the ball for any reason it is an automatic T? Is there any way officials are calling it a T b/c they believe spiking the ball to be a T b/c of perception even though there isn't a specific rule? I wasn't there last night, but this official "seemingly" made an error or made the game about himself. Neither are acceptable.

Why though? If a player is excited for himself or mad at himself who is he taunting? What rule are the officials applying? I am not asking about if the player appears to be mad about a call. I am fine with that being called every time.

I'm interested in knowing what exact rule are officials using to T a player for slamming a ball to the ground. It kind of shows up an official if it happens directly after a call is made, but not always. What rule are the refs referencing? Are the rules the same in college and high school?

I'm not sure either, but I wish every sport would pick the same date and if it is January 1st that is fine. I understand sports are seasonal I just wish I could grab 10-12 kids around age 5 and have them play all sports together until they started figuring out what they really want to play or if sports just isn't for them. My oldest was born in late November so January 1st would benefit him playing against older/better kids, but I get that some wouldn't benefit from that.

Having kids that are just starting 1st grade and kindergarten I'm starting to look to future basketball options. What leagues do kids play in if they don't play AAU and how young do they start playing more than just a school team? My son is playing little colonels and school this season.

I thought the girls coach from Dixie was going to start a girls version of little colonels last year. Did that fall through?

I can agree with that and I would say Draud has to be on the list too leaving two spots up for debate to me.
