Great time of year to watch HS basketball - this is a game many thought wouldn't be competitive and instead it was a war. Congrats to Conner for playing their hearts out and to CovCath for grinding out the win!

Scott only took 11 shots? I'd like to see him take about 20 shots - he is hard to guard and a good free throw shooter. Sounds like his teammates really stepped up. Tough loss for Conner.

Best team won today. Really hate hearing Conner fans complain about the refs though. Without Conner getting calls against Ryle and Cooper they wouldn't even been playing today.

Colonels need games like this IMO if they want to compete downstate....if they make it.

Yep really. Refs could have swallowed their whistles in both district games but instead the same lead ref gave them both to Conner. You win some and lose some and today Conner lost.

I don't see one comment on here about the officiating except yours. The refs didn't "win" it for Conner in the 33rd. They didn't "lose" it for them today.

 

And, if you are referring to the charge call in the Ryle game I've watched it 100 times and still can't tell. Certainly, not the egregious call you are claiming it to be.

The non call on the Conley steal was a horrible call. Game changer imo. Conner was making a run. Since when can a kid drive someone from the FT line to the basket with their rear end with one hand wrapped around the defensive player?
