Holmes v Beechwood seems to be the only competitive district game to get in the region. Maybe Villa v Dixie. Looks like the region will be CCH, HHS,NCC,St Henry, Ryle, Cooper,Villa, and winner of Beechwood and Holmes.

Holmes 2-0. Big guy up top ( sorry don't know his name) gives HC lots of trouble and scores twice. It would be more but HC goalie keeps it close. Battle of 2 teams who probably have the most athletic goalies you will ever see.

Totally agree coach McMillan is trying to do things the right way. Taking advantage of teaching moments and always being positive. Good luck to hIm and his staff building the program back up.

Campbell County on a nice little 7 game roll.They are 7-0 in their region. They finish with 3 tough games so we'll know how much they have improved since early loses to CCH, Cooper, and HHS.

My son was a ball boy for a game against Boone on the Boone bench side and let's just say some of the coaches comments were very disturbing.

I have seen quite a few games in my time and I'm sure there have been games where some cards are not always warranted. There is a line and the officials have to demonstrate to all the players where the line is for the match. I will say there is quite a few officials that do basketball games also and there foul recognition is plentiful.

Really false pretenses. Game control is an important job of the referee and cards are one of the tools for game control. Khsaa has told the officials to get control of the physical play and dissent.

Calvary is in the 10th and either beechwood or holmes will make regionals. Blame khsaa, it use to be one of the best districts in the state. I'm sure Brossart and Campbell don't mind they were moved.

Great result for Brossart. That win should make them favorites in the 10th.

I think it is Campbell in the 10 th but I wouldn't count Pendleton or Bourban. I was told Bourbon would host if they win their district.

Actually I would have thought Calvary would have came out with a better result as Connor is down this year. Holmes and Beechwood have beat them this year.

Tough last week gets even harder this week as Anderson already handled Ryle rather easily this year. Anderson wins 2-0.

Referees do peer review but coaches no longer do reviews because they could only be bothered when they lost. Grant county tournament had 7 varsity games alone. The association covers 6 counties. Saturday's are bad on numbers because most refs block Saturdays because they might have there on kids playing or they choose to do club or just have a couple days off to recover.
