Cooper trails most of the game as Conner scores on a quick transition early in the first half. Cooper than received a free kick about 25 yards out with less than a minute left to play and scores. Two and a half minutes into overtime cooper scores on a corner kick to win. Good physical game with plenty of opportunities for both sides. Tough result for Conner.

I'm going to go with CC 2-1. Very quick on top and the goalie made several good saves on promising calvary shots. I didn't think BB played that well despite the 5 goal advantage. They will have to play at a quicker pace Thursday.

Not sure how many games Calvary played on turf but the speed early seemed to be a problem.

HHS VS NCC good game but both will advance. Better to be a 1 than a 2 at the regional draw however.

Wow. Nice result for Connor and it may be a tie in the books but its definitely a loss for CCH.

9th is very even this year with the top 4 teams. HHS might be the true underdog though with loses to CCH and St Henry but they do have a win against Collegiate. I would say it's very even across the state except I haven't seen St X or Dunbar.

Not all fouls in the box are automatically a pk. Impeding is an indirect kick as well as a passback to the keeper.

Physical game played by the top 2 teams in the 9th region. Ryle plays the last 20 minutes down a player on a double yellow. CCH gets awarded a pk on handling call in the last 2 minutes and converts for the win.

HC goalie is crazy good. Too bad he doesn't play for one of the top teams he would be a candidate for state honors.

Covington Catholic plays McNicholas this Thursday and Anderson in 2 weeks. Highlands plays east central ind.this week and Lasalle and Madeira in 3 weeks.
