Khsaa wants representation from all 4 quadrants of the state, they are not interested in putting the top 2 teams in the finals. Makes for some great regional finals though.

Hard to believe highlands is 7th having beaten 4 of the top 6. I'm sure there district schedule doesn't help them with sos.

How many seniors are on Boone? I know they made it to the regional final last year, is that possible this year with NDA and HHS being such tough competition

NCC did not have there starting goalie but Calvary played well and won the majority of the 50/50 balls.

Highlands scores a first half goal and holds on for the win. Ryle played the jv last 15 minutes.

Two district champs and a possible regional semifinal square off tonight. I'll go with a 1-1 tie as both teams might be saving a little for 2 weeks from now when the game will count for a lot more.

I think Boone has been ducking Highlands for 2 years now.

Region 7 is definitely the group of the death. Region 9 no cakewalk either with 3 in the top 20 and 3 more teams just outside of the top 20. While the final 4 is probably going to be chalk in the 7th, the 9th will have quality matches in the first round.

First half was more even. I don't remember to many shots on goal by either team the second half.

Pk was a bad call. I wouldn't say they dominated but they definitely won time of possession. HHS has one of their better strikers out and CB for most of the game.

It's still soccer and the fields are not much different than Coopers size wise, which they will be playing districts on.

It should make for an interesting meeting with the principal.

Not 100% sure but I don't think Bishop Brossart , Holy Cross or Scot even played a jv schedule?
