Wow... 4 out of the top 5 Region 7! Since 2009 Louisville Collegiate has been in Region 7 with both Trinity and St. X. During that time St. X. won Region 7 three times, Trinity won Region 7 three times, and LC won Region 7 once (losing to either Trinity or St. X. the other 6 times). During that time St X won States 3 times.

Region 7 is definitely the group of the death. Region 9 no cakewalk either with 3 in the top 20 and 3 more teams just outside of the top 20. While the final 4 is probably going to be chalk in the 7th, the 9th will have quality matches in the first round.

4 top 20 in Region 11, in addition to Woodford County who is a top 10 team but has been battling a ton of injuries down the stretch. If they can get healthy they are as good as anyone in that region. And Henry Clay who has played a very difficult schedule.
