  1. Riherds scoreboard when the draw is over.
  2. The card goes to the coach when the offender can't be identified. I'm guessing the coach got the card that's where a ref gets the most bang for the card.
  3. I'm with bothways good physical game just how the players like.Nothing chippy and some physical tackles by both sides. I'll say it again IT'S BIG GIRL SOCCER and if you dont think it's a contact sport maybe your daughter should play volleyball.
  4. Has to be 65 yards wide. NKU and Thomas More would qualify. I don't know how these other regions will do it.
  5. Definitely the best match of the day. I think it goes to overtime.
  6. Another red card yesterday for Scott and that makes five. One of the accumulating reds proposal would make a team ineligible for post season after five reds.
  7. I was told when they put in the field the football people would not allow soccer markings.
  8. Soccer not allowed to use the football field. No soccer lines on the turf. They play on the grass behind the school which is part of the baseball field. Beech wood now have a boys jv team so varsity is probably a year away.
  9. You do know that the offside call is the primary call for the AR and heaven forbid if you miss one. If the AR didn't see all of the play it happens because he is watching the last defender first and everything else second. Also, VIOLENT CONDUCT is always red and never yellow so center ref needs a refresher course.
  10. AR just gives the CR the information and he then decides what card should be issued. The AR might see from a different angle what the CR couldn't see and it sounds like they worked together to get the call.
  11. The game might not have quite the same interest with the Scott loss to BB but Cooper will still be playing to keep their undefeated season in tacked.
  12. If the attacking team does not ask for ten yards they may start without a whistle as long as there is no injuries or cards which would cause the ref to stop the watch. They do not have to wait for the defense to set there wall.
  13. Same center that was on the Boone Scott game! Sounds like he did a good job
  14. How was the referee? I will let you know later why I ask.
  15. JR cant use the shed anymore for the after game pep talk. Can you say sprint program.
  16. I think I called it Sep 14, 14, 04:35 PM #15 imsays ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- RED card is two games in High school, doesn't matter if its a showcase. Might even be three games since it was his second within two weeks.
  17. Tuesday we have Cooper at Ryle for district bragging rights. CCH at Highlands on paper doesn't look to be that close but this fixture always seem to be competitive. Thursday there is Ryle vs St. Henry and Boone vs CCH. Conner at Dixie both trying to stay in the conversation while Ryle played to a tie at NCC and needs a couple of results to stay near the top of the region. The ninth region really takes shape after this week. Now if we could get that Cooper vs CCH game rescheduled :irked: I would suggest that CCH drops East Central and Cooper drop Calvary and they play on October 4th.

  19. It's big girl soccer, was it physical yes, but it was well played and I'm sure most of the players prefer it that way. CC did well considering they were down a player early in the game and were short some key players including the keeper,
  20. No, only in state teams. On the boys side Trinity and St X played highly rated teams from out of state and it doesn't change the rankings. Highlands and NDA have played quality out of state teams also.
  21. Cooper is 36th, the computer has not warmed to the Jaguars just yet.
