High school polls are just like beauty pagents everyone has a favorite. If its not decided on the field then its all opinions with a few facts sprinkled in to back ones opinion. HHS had a great season and found itself in the discussion of top teams in the country but in the end it is someones opinion who probably didnt even see half the teams play in there own top twenty five. We should all be glad that KY high school football gets some recognition. Ohio and probably a big part of the country will always be looking down at KY HS football as long as the HHS,T,X's of the state continue to lose the interstate matchups.

Nice start to the BB season for Highlands and there new coach.

HHS can travel 20 minutes and play 5 schools as good as if not better than X&T. The football is definitely better in Ohio than in KY. Columbus Desales a small catholic school could compete with any team in KY.They have played HHS twice and drilled them both times.

I think HHS would beat St. X with there senior QB not so sure with the Sophmore.

I believe PC fans said the exact same thing. I think the birds have seen speed that JH has never seen.(St.X, Colerain, Withrow, Moeller):eek:

Uk or EKU would be better for the state finals then BG. I'm sure there will be Plenty of HHS fans but not as many if it were in Lex. or Ville. :idunno:

Colerain is coming to the ville and their not playing T/X. Tell us why T/X couldnt get this one on their schedule !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The fact the Cincy GCL teams play four top teams in there own league plus mix in a Cleve.CL team and the best public schools in Cincy area and that is why the HS football is so good in SW Ohio. T/X have one or two games on their schedule that are competitive and the rest are scrimmages.

Leave out Boone Cty and put in Elder or Moeller or Cleveland St.Edwards. They would probably be 6-4 but they would have great football event every week.

Trinity has played Cincinnati X two straight years, beating them this year. We play them again next season. Elder was also on the schedule but the game was cancelled due to needing home games for both sides. T plays Moehler as well on Freshman and JV level every year Maybe Highlands only has room for a home game!

Why dont they mix in a varsity game with the big 4 ,especially now that coach Rhodenberg (sp?) is at Moeller. I would think if X/T really wanted these games they could get them done!

When is T/X playing the big four from Cincinnati? I know they have problems getting competitive games . Highlands tries to play one of them every year, but I dont see the teams from X/T on there schedules.

More and more 8th graders are playing club and freshman. Club takes precedence over school ball at the younger ages. Club soccer is more competitive than freshman and sometimes JV games. Highlands has 7th graders on freshman and there not the only ones. Last year I heard a parent say after her son was hurt on the field that she hoped it wasn't bad because his club team had a big tournament that weekend.
