Soccer17 Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 I know the game is not for another two days, but I want to see how the soccer fanatics on BGP think this game will pan out. It seems this match-up is the Kentucky crosstown showdown while always being very physical, intense, and extremely competitive. Excited to see about how it all goes down. Players to watch? NCC- Muck and Schultz duo. HHS- Dolezal, Gish, & Mills trio. I don't expect a blowout at all by either team. It seems to always be a closer game with plenty of excitement with these two teams.
footstomp Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 NCC played an emotionally charged game tonight in defeating Brossart in the All A tourney. That being said, it's hard to repeat that type of energy in your next game. I think it will be competitive with the Birds winning.

Girls game on Monday did just that. 0-0 after 2 halves and one 5 min ot period. Ended when a goal was scored with 8 seconds left in 2nd ot. Otherwise would have moved to PK.
Never offsides Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 This game means nothing. The district championship will determine who gets the 1 or 2 seed for regionals. It's a shame we can't toss Holmes, Beechwood, Calvary, Conner or some other school who has been having a good year to contest the district.
