  1. probably 10+ players more worthy of a walk on spot on KY.
  2. Dunbar is playing great basketball but I dont see them winning this game. Bryan Station 82 Dunbar 71
  3. This would be an incredible mistake, he isn't even the best mountain player in the state. That title belongs to Slone. If Stepp played in the 11th or 7th Region, his numbers would be nowhere near what they are, nor would he have played until his Junior year possibly.
  4. If Lex Cath brings their game (which i believe they will) they should be playing Station for the 11th region championship and prevail to Rupp. If Scott Co hadnt been put into the 11th the sweet 16 could be much more interesting. Although it makes the 11th region so very tough.
  5. They are most definatly the best 4-20 team I have seen, They have hung close with many GOOD teams. If they stay healthy all year they would and could be a very tough team.
  6. This should be an interesting 4 vs 5 game in the 43rd. Lafayette won at their place by double digits and LCA won by 25 at their place. Any thoughts?
  7. For me it was the 2005 LCA championship team. They dropped 3 games in a row middle of the season other than that they may have had only 2 losses. 3 of their starters pitched in college. They had 10 players go onto play college baseball.
  8. The same thing happened last year to LCA they lost two close games to Catholic, that being said it would be interesting to see. Should be one of the better girls games this year. The 43rd district tournament just may have more talent than the sweet 16.
  9. Novosel from Catholic def. the favorite.
  10. The 11th is just so tough. The winner of this region should be the favorite to win it all because they have already beaten the best comeptition in the state. In todays paper the top 3 teams were all out of the 11th. If anyone but Mason Co or someone from the 11th wins i will be incredibly suprised.
  11. Lex Cath, Scott Co, Mason Co, and Bryan Station are the only teams that i think have really good odds to win it. Other teams wouuldnt be fav. they may have a shot but these 4 are head and shoulders above the rest of the state.
  12. Station is one of the best teams if not the best. It could turn out to be one of the greatest 11th region title games ever, if it comes down to them and Lex Cath. Im not sure if Clark or Montgomery could beat Mason on a given night.
  13. Dunbar is a very solid team, I would expect this game to be much farther in score.
  14. Hopson is the best player in the state of kentucky. Miller is good but im not sure he has the outside shot that Hopson has. Dont get me wrong Miller is a good player but when Hopson wants to play I believe he is the best player in Kentucky.
  15. Lex cath has the best ENTIRE basketball program, having a top 10 boys team every year, along with a top 3 girls team every year. LCA has a strong all 'A' team playing in the toughest region in the state
  16. Sloan is the real deal, he can do it all. He scored 50 pts in a game as a frosh. One hard nosed player who is a good shooter. Good luck to him in his college choices and hopefully he can lead Bill Mikes team back to Rupp.
  17. Coach Hicks was at the Lex Cath game tonight. Should make for an interesting game. im still taking catholic
  18. Phares is the number 1 in that class hands down. Then im going with Furgueson, Sanford, and Hood.
  19. That was a good dunk, yet something you could see just about every game in the 11th region.
  20. Phares will play more against Stewart in this game, they are similar players. Jordan Lee will play more against novosel. Catholic wins this game by7
  21. Tates Creek is the team to beat this year in the 11th region. Players to watch: Robbie Ross- Lexington Christian Nick Morande- Lexington Catholic Ryan Fucci- Tates Creek
  22. I think Clark County is the darkhorse in the 10th. I will have to go with Dunbar as the darkhorse in the 11th
