Any predictions for Tuesday night? Should be very interesting!

No point starting this thread, you'll probably only get a lot of people from other parts of the state saying how glad they are that one of these teams will be done playing for the year after this one. As for my opinion, yup, this will be a good game and fun to watch. Lex Cath has two senior leaders who don't want to end their careers on a low note while LCA has a solid group of juniors that want to prove they can defend their title.

 

Game is at Henry Clay. Anyone who wants to see some good girl's basketball should go.

It is a shame that one of them won't go to the regional because they both deserve that opportunity after the season they have had. But it happens every year where teams don't make it out of their district because there are two very good teams who must play each other before the finals. Take a look at the 11th region - there are 5-6 very good teams and many much better than half the regions top team but only one gets the node to the Sweet 16. The 11th region tournament may have more talent than the Sweet 16 this year.

Probably best game of the night statewide!

LexCath is a bad matchup for LCA. The LexCath Novosel girl is a star!

I give the edge to Lex Cath in this one.

The same thing happened last year to LCA they lost two close games to Catholic, that being said it would be interesting to see. Should be one of the better girls games this year. The 43rd district tournament just may have more talent than the sweet 16.

Is this game going to be on the internet broadcast? I can't get to the game but would love to listen, if anyone has any info that would be great.

Ha, I was being a little bitter yesterday. I started a thread similar to this about two weeks ago when this game became official after LCA's 2nd loss to Dunbar and I got blasted by a few people because of all the controversy that surrounds the two schools.

 

You are very right, Dunbar is a very good team here in the 11th and no matter which of the top 3 in the 11th that you get to see, it'll be some good ball.

 

As for this game, I'm a little worried right now for Lex Cath. I'll just leave it at Novosel is going to have to carry the load tomorrow and earn her Mrs. Basketball in this game. Go Lady Knights!!!
