Mason Co could really not get anything going on the O side of the ball.

Mack was a very good player, If Miller doesn't win Mr. Basketball Mack should.

 

Mason Co couldn't find anything from the outside. They were something like 2-21 on 3's.

 

Station has a very good overall team and is very quick. It will be a fun 11th region with Scott Co, Lex Cath and Station.

Station beat Mason tonight, like Clark did in the region last year. Let Miller get his, but try and shut everyone else down. Mason's coach said on his post game that the supporting cast has got to step up in post season.

This game sounds like the opposite of Mason's game against Elliot Co. in which they couldn't miss a shot.

 

Even though Miller and Mack had comparable stats, did one stand out in particular and strengthen his case for Mr. Basketball?

Bryan Station was just the better team tonight. Good luck to them in their district and the 11th.

Mason played HORRBILE! They could not rebound, make any shots, or really guard anyone at all. And yes, Mack and Miller both guarded each other.

Mason couldn't throw the ball in the ocean standing on the shore. Station played a good overall game. They treid to shut Darius down, but he got his and when he passed no one else could put the ball in the hoop. They had open looks but couldn't knock em down. The better team won tonight. I think both of them strengthened their chances tonight, because they both carried their teams.

 

Neal Pawsay played an extremely good game, and if wasn't for his rebounding Mason looses this game by 15. No one wanted to grab a rebound it seemed. Mack had several offensive boards and put backs.

 

Also, surprsied no one has mentioned when Mack had a fast break and tried a dunk and pinned himself.

Top 3 teams in the state all in the 11th region. Two of them in the same district! Could get wild these next few weeks.

I had read a while back that Mack was getting some attention from UK (yes I know he verballed to Butler). Is that still the case?

Mack shut it down pretty much. He said he was firm on his committment and then said something stupid. He said "Where were they the last couple of years when Butler was there the whole time." That is paraphrased, but pretty close. Anyway, what does that matter now? It's a new coach. Bad excuse...
