I met Coach Hicks several years ago. He was very friendly and extremely cordial. He's also one of the best coaches in the state if not the best.

If there was a similar tournament for Highlands, you would jump all over it. But there's not so you have to talk all this crap about how it is not fair that the All A schools get this opportunity to experience some success. Oh, and if you are district runner-up this year, I guess you are going to tell your girls that they are not going to the regional tournament because that would be providing them another opportunity to experience success in which they didn't earn.

This could effect some of the smaller schools. Especially in golf, cross country and track.

Yes, I really do believe that is the motive behind your thoughts. Please do me a favor and don't spend the next 5 pages trying to figure out how to get your real point across. I've heard it over and over and over and over and over and over again! You didn't confuse me at all. I know where you stand. Just remember, life isn't fair, accept it, get over it and move on. That's okay with me. Actually, I think that would be great. However, that's not the case. Highlands has the opportunity to get in any prestigious tournament (other than the All A) that they want to and if they chose not to, that's their fault. Please, organize a mid-class state tournament so we don't have to listen about how unfair it is that Highlands doesn't have this opportunity.

Why do only a certain few deserve a chance to experience this? It's simple, because they can! This tournament is for the "little guys/gals". If you want one for Highlands, organize it. I would have no problem with that.

I was really impressed with Alexis Brewer when I saw LaRue play. I thought she was the best player on the court.

Come on, no Hatton? He can do it all and carried a team that was not talent heavy. I agree with NKY Bandit, he may be the best guard to play in NKY in the past 20 years.
