Beginning with the 2014-2015 school year no one below the the 7th grade can play up on a high school team UNLESS they have already done so. Example, a 5th grader played on the high school tennis team THIS year, then they would be allowed to play next year on the high school team also.

What sports will this rule affect?

mild rule change at best . prob needed but not much a change

This could effect some of the smaller schools. Especially in golf, cross country and track.
