Those numbers are pretty good. I know during Carter's junior year he came off the bench and averaged 4 and 4.

Does anyone have any stats/ ratings on Zollo? Is everyone just assuming he is going to be good because he signed with UK. I know UK has a different coach now but could he be another Jared Carter (I heard he may grow to 7 ft 1)? Not knocking the kid I just want to know some facts about his ranking.

Does scout or rivals have a rating on this kid? I haven't seen anything. How good is he?

Also does anyone know the records of the 16 teams remaining?

I am just trying to get a feel for who the top teams are in the state. If someone would want to post their own ranking of the 16 teams remaining that would be helpful as well. Thanks

That makes three doubles titles for MCHS in the last 8 years! Also the Indians won the team title for the first 2nd time since 04 and the third time overall!

In doubles the winners were Brett Johnson and Colby Buchanan (CAL) over Will Palmer/ Elliott Farmer (Henry Clay). In girls doubles the winners were Sacred Heart over LCA. The teams winners were Manual (boys) and Sacred Heart (girls).

Humphrey seems like a very good coach and person. He never makes excuses.

I remember Winn and Lightfoot from Rupp in 07. I would like to see Riley and the Dragons get back to Rupp. He gives some of the best quotes in his interview and WC is always fun to watch.

Yeah he has won the region singles title 3 straight years. Maybe he can make it to the semis at state this year.

Jackson and Euton in. Hundley, Portwood, Lee, Adams, etc. out. I know they will be better but they did lose some talent. Without the transfers I didn't have them top 10 in the state this year. I don't think Euton/ Jackson can bump them up from being borderline top 10 in KY to being top 10 in the nation. Will they be playing other new people as well (freshman, transfers, etc.)

They could be top 25 in the nation. I think they could possibly be about the same as the 07 title team. It would be hard to be better though. I think they have a long way to go to make the top 10 you saw what happended when they played the #1 team from Jersey, boy was it ugly.

Agreed, Miller made everybody on that team so much better. He was constantly doubled and left teammates with wide open shots.

Adair had 3 solid players and another decent one in Helm. They just lacked any depth after that.

My starting five would be: G's Mack and Hood F's Hopson and Miller C Phares

I think Setty was 0-7 according to the herald leader box score. I am not here to call anyone out I just found it ironic that all year Mason Co. fans talked about how great this kid was and then they changed their tune after it looks like he should have been suspended for the state finals saying they could have won without him no problem. Some people on this site have tried to have it both ways.

I forgot that J-town is getting a Manual transfer. I want to move J-town up to #3.

What is the difference between "walk-on" and "preferred walk-on"? Does it simply mean that preferred walkon's don't have to try out? I wonder what set of rules they are under. The ones that applied to Mike Williams or the ones that applied to Dusty Mills?

Ballard and Male were both in the super 25 in 2001. Ballard had Bender and Chiles. Male had O'bannon and Bush.
