  1. The perfect church is Christ's church.
  2. UGA's coach pretty much made the same comparison between Lefevour and Tebow. Here is a part of an article from ESPN.com. I have also attached a link the entire article. Georgia's defense faced a spread system in its season opener, and will face a similar offense Saturday. One major difference, though, will be the man lining up under center for two-time defending Mid-American Conference champion Central Michigan. The Chippewas are led by quarterback Dan LeFevour, who threw for 27 touchdowns and ran for 19 last season. In last Thursday's season-opening 31-12 victory over Eastern Illinois, LeFevour was 21-of-31 for 217 yards, three touchdowns and no interception and had 42 yards rushing on 11 carries. This will be the first meeting between Georgia and Central Michigan, and Richt isn't thrilled with having to face LeFevour. "If it weren't for what (Florida quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner) Tim Tebow did last year, everyone would be talking about what LeFevour has done," Richt said. "You really don't want to catch a team if you are just going to play them once in a blue moon when they have their veteran quarterback and he has been tremendously successful." LeFevour is trying to lead the Chippewas to back-to-back victories to open a season for the first time since winning their first three in 2002. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/preview?gameId=282500061
  3. First of all, have you seen Central Michigan's Dan Lefevour (spelling?) play? He is very athletic and is great running and passing the football. Have you seen his numbers? In my opinion is he right up there with Tebow and Daniel as one of the best QB's in America. Second, getting back to Florida's chances at winning the national title as we have seen over the past several seasons (LSU in 07, UF in 06, etc) defense wins championships. UF's defense isn't bad at all but is nowhere near the D of USC and some of the other top teams in the nation. If they do get there it would be because they have about as favorable as any SEC schedule could (granted that being in the SEC still makes any schedule tough). The west teams they play are Miss, @Ark, LSU. They also get SC at home and UGA in Fla (neutral site). There non-conference is solid but Miami and FSU aren't what they used to be.
  4. Hackworth did start limping and came out in the second half. Not sure how many plays he missed and I don't know whether he came back in or not. Along with Darnell he is probably the Indians best player.
  5. Who is going to pay for all of this increased health insurance that Obama wants? I mean it isn't as bad as Hilary's plan that would be like Canada's but I still don't like it.
  6. GRC was 0 for 4 in the red zone in the first half. Indians played good on defense, running the ball and special teams, they just need to get the passing game going.
  7. Central Michigan's QB is right up there with Tebow and they aren't going to be playing for a national title. Not comparing them to UF but just saying Tebow isn't going to do it all by himself. UF receivers are solid and very good players but they are not the best group of receivers in the nation like most people think and Harvin should not be on any first team lists at WR.
  8. Why did Mel Kiper have Cantwell so high on his draft board? I kept saying that U of L forgot they lost Brohm all I kept hearing about was Hunter Cantwell.
  9. Oh, yeah and any coach that throws to Trevard Lindley's side of the field more than once a quarter should be fired. However, David Jones is also stepping up to form one of the top Corner Combos in the nation!
  10. I like it how U of L fans were questioning the fact that UK's defense wasn't that good because they would always bring up the fact that UK's defense was 10th best in the SEC. All I have to say is U of L fans better be glad they don't play in the SEC! Oh, yeah and thanks for inviting Morgan Newton to the game @ UK last year and also Ridge Wilson and Duece Finch this year. I'd say Duece will commit to UK soon and the duece will be loose again.
  11. The thread topic is "If Obama wins" that was the first thing that popped in my head.
  12. Oh yeah and we can pay more in gas, I'm looking forward to that too! I can't wait to start paying more money!
  13. If Obama wins that means those of us that work get to pay more taxes. I can't wait!
  14. Shane Scott. His youtube videos are so funny. Go to youtube and type in Shane Scott for President if you want a laugh.
  15. Faith. And plus the prophets of the OT and the apostles in the NT backed up their testimony with miracles. Anybody can just say God told them something, how do we know if they are telling the truth if they don't back it up with signs and wonders? The pope is not making the blind see, the lame walk, raising the dead, etc. Just as ladies b-ball coach said certain aspects of the Holy Spirit are not nessecary today. The bible tells us all we need to know.
  16. Both offenses were awful. SC's defense is good and saved them. Why in the world would Spurrier start Beecher? Smelly was 4-2 last year and also looked good in the 4th.
  17. UK's running backs can help out in the passing game with their ability to catch balls out of the backfield. Also Conner can help with protection and Ford is an excellent blocker, hopefully he will play.
  18. I think if called upon maybe Rash could guard a tall guy because he has such long arms and maybe Combs could guard another tall guy.
  19. I'm not saying that coaches did or didn't allow kids water but no one should ever for any reason be denied water.
  20. You have a good point about the GRC coach being poor at clock management. I remember when they played Montgomery in the playoffs in '06 and all they needed to do was do a couple running plays and the game would be over. The coach for seem reason decided to go all Les Miles and actually throw the ball. It stopped the clock and actually allowed Montgomery to get one final possession and actually have a hail mary at the end zone. While GRC won the game it was one of the dumbest coaching moves I have ever seen.
  21. I agree. While Cantwell is solid U of L fans seem to forget that they lost a great player in Brian Brohm. People seem to think that Tom Brady is lining up at QB for the Cards.
