Oh well I tried.

I really like football and used to play. Isn't that enough?

I have told everyone I will take it if they want me to.

It was cancelled.

No just the program all together needs to moving.

I'm sure its something CCH wants to do but right now they need the ship going in the right direction. JMO.

I think there best chance to get better for the long haul is Kevin but I do think they will go with a former Colonel.

Dematha was incredible a couple years ago with Bogans and Forte. They had people on the bench that never plaed and got full ride scholarships.

Does drinking coolaid really make a difference? Just curious.

Chad Jackson played out of his mind. He did everything last night.

IMO Euton is a good player and maybe takes more shots than he should. If you play sports you know if you are "feeling it" or if you are off that night. Lately he has been off. He needs to shoot just not so much. Your probably right about being on top in the 1-3-1, I forgot about the fouls. I'm heading to the game tonight so we will see how bad it gets. I'm sure we will see a lot of people.

That maybe so and I glad all the proceeds go to football it just seems a little long to me. I bet its a thrill to see yourself on a highlight film and for some of the kids it may be there last time playing football so I get that its for the kids but some of the kids that I have spoken to in the past have admitted that the 3 hour tape is too long. Oh well I guess agree to disagree. Is this how much we want the season to come back around that we are arguing about the length of a highlight film.:clap:

I am heading down to the Classic tomorrow and was curious if anyone had some good stats or players to watch for Scott County or Boyd. Thanks in advance.

Scott County played very bad last night. I talked to Coach Hicks after the game and he was not very happy. He thought that they would jump up all over Dunbar early and often. Euton needs to learn to pass a little more and they played a 1-3-1 last night with him at the point and he is too slow to play that position. Phares is a STUD. He does everything for the Cardinals. Ge-Lawn is the defensive stud. He always gets matched up on the other teams best player and normally shuts them down. He is a sneaky player when it comes to offense because he scores in spurts. Chad Jackson has the ability to take over a game whenever he wants to. He needs to cut down on the turnovers but he gets steals and a lot of boards to overcome the turnovers. Tamron is going to be good but he's only a freshman and has a lot of room to grow. These are just my opinions on the starting 5.

How can you possibly have a highlight film that long? After a while everyone gets the point. I have a highlight film that's 45 minutes and that's all you need. It turns into a snoozer. JMO though.

I'm not trying to start anything but why do most people in here think that the player of the yeah and Mr. Football should go to a senior? THe Heisman can go to the BEST player no matter the age or year of college. If Brandon did win that good for him this should build his resume better for college. Again I'm not starting anything just asking that's all?

Georgetown network will have it as well.

Eviston? (sp?). He did pretty well from what I heard. Never made it to a game but watched a couple on tv and he held his own. Any thoughts on him?

The kid runs track and is an All-American so I thought Mr. Football would be in the question. Not sure if he will have all the numbers but should be interesting.

Scott County better play better than they did vs. Mason or they will get blown out. I think they will step up and win by 5. Should be a great game.

Congrats to him that is awesome! Out of curiousity would that make him the front-runner for Mr. Football? I'm not sure who all would challenge him. I truthfully don't know that many kids around the state. Again congrats Austin a very well deserved honor!

Coach Mike Code and Willie Schlarman were by far the best defensive coaches I had in high school, but I have to admit I played for Jeff Stowers in AAU basketball for 7 or 8 years and he trumped everyone. He didn't care if we scored a single point but they were not going to score at all. If someone drove baseline on us we would run for days the next practice we had. I love that man to this day for teaching us that and that's one of the reasons we were so good in high school.

That is just my opinion though. :D:D:D

Yeah that's pretty much it. HHS will be FINE next year. They have a fearless leader and that's half the battle.:thumb:
