Chad Jackson showed his strength late in this one, once again it just seems like when he feels like taking over a game he's able to do it with ease. Good hard fought win Scott County.

Also, number 32, i guess that's Tyler Rogers, this kid looked really good.

Great W for the Cards. Lets see what Wireman has to say if he chimes in on his lack of RESPECT for Scott County.

I don't have a lack of respect for anyone. I gave my prediction based on my opinion. Here's what I have to say - nice win for Scott County on the road.

Is it just me or does it seem like SC always plays bad in the first half?

I said it earlier in the year before the Holmes game and I'll say it again...against good teams that is really going to hurt them in March.

Seems like a very balanced night for the Cards scoring though. Guyn with 20 points...that kid is VERY fun to watch play ball. Can't wait to see him at Rupp.

Eta Rho - You are correct about Guyn, he is fun to watch. He was nine of 10 from the field against Bryan Station and seven of 10 tonight against Paul Dunbar.

He had the same kind of night shooting against Holmes as well. The kid can flat fill it up. Can you imagine what his PPG would be if Jackson and Euton weren't on the team to balance out the scoring? He'd average every bit of 30 ppg IMO.

He is a HECK of a player, but I don't know if he would average more without Euton and Jackson. I think the combination of players opens up possibilities for each one of them. Sometimes being the "MAN" is harder than being one of the "MEN". Just a thought. He is a great player though.

This is definitely true IMO. Having 4 great players on the floor prevents other teams from being able to key on just one because something will open up for another. If a team doesn't double in the post on Phares he scores. If they do and he finds the open man (Guyn/Euton/Jackson) they get wide open shots. Just one example.

Well, you can't use the word always. Scott County ran Bryan Station out of the gym in the first half Friday night.

In the first half Scott County really struggled with Dunbars zone. Took way to many outside shots. Second half was a different story, Scott scored over 50 points as they shot 66% from the field in the second half and held Dunbar to 33% for the second half. I believe Scott County came in a little big headed after the big win against Bryan Station.

I think Guyn would still get his...but you wouldn't see his shooting % as high without Jackson and Euton in the lineup.

BTW, is Manning starting for SC yet? I was very impressed with him as well when I saw them against Holmes.
