I agree high school may do well with the system but this is a college football thread that's what I was comparing it to. The overall system does work just not with him calling it. There are plenty of teams out there that the spread works with, but Tony's part hasn't worked in big time college...yet. Look I'm not trying to fight anyone over this but I look at what happened at Auburn and saw he lasted 7 months (or whatever it actually was).

You have to admit that he failed bad in Auburn and yes I know about that opportunity as well.. And you are right about UK but he deserved what happened to him. I was there and I know exactly what happened before everyone jumps on me. I saw what happened and knew what was said. He didn't agree with Mumme and that's fine but DID NOT need to right that book. This seems to be one of those topics to agrre to disagree that's all. We obviously have different opinions and that's cool.

If he is so great then why can't he stick around anywhere? I will give it to you all that the idea of the system may work but he can not stick through it and can not change. Just not a very good coach. The tough ones are there through thick and thin.

Your right it does say a lot about Franklin. He would love a chance to get at Troy. I hope Troy runs all over him and gets him out of town like Auburn did. This system that he has doesn't work. He isn't the right guy to run it. He was just a blip on the screen and needs to go back and write another book or sell out again. He goes around and tries to put these systems into high school and makes a ton of money doing that he doesn't need to be in college. I may get into a little trouble for all that but Coach Franklin and I DO NOT get along. Let's just say we don't see eye to eye. Again this is all one mans opinion.

I think that he is a great kid and a great player, the only problem is he looks a lot like a bunch of high school linemen. What I mean is he doesn't stand out of a crowd. Someone that is 6'3" comes a dime a dozen. I think he can play at the next level but the best route IMO is to go to a big school and work his tail off and earn a scholarship. The coaches will have to see him play and prove that he can hold his own at the next level. Also your right he will need to be a center ion college. He's not tall enough to play tackle and maybe guard but the most intelligent linemen play center which is where I think he would fit in. They need to know protections and defensive schemes which is where he would excell. But this is all my opinion so take it for what it is worth.

I heard he wanted to make sure he did everything the complete opposite of the way things were. That is true about Justin he had the better arm and the better touch.

Perry Jason Sauer beat him out fair and square, plus Frisk didn't care who the qb was he was getting the ball every play. The only thing that would have changed is Frisk's passing yards would have went down. We need football season to start!

If you are in and around Scott County listen to it on 104.9 and I will take SC by 10. -
If that can that work it is by far the best solution. I couldn't agree more with you. It helps a lot to have a younger guy watching and learning fram a senior.

Holmes Scott County Elliot County rest of the State. -
I think Coach has to do this right away when he enters because he can't just spring it on them. I like the fact that he is taking the stance, but he knows that it may cost him some great players. That's a big chance.
