I just got back and this game was amazing. Instant Classic. I honestly thought that Mason had this game the whole time until the last 4 minutes. Ge-Lawn stepped up his game and Chad Jackson played great. Chad had to pick up the slack because Ge-Lawn and Dakota REALLY struggles from the field. Richie is a great center and I am becomiong more impressed by him every game I go to. As for Mason what else can you say about Middleton. He carried the Royals on his back and I think just ran out of gas at the end of the game. He is a great player and deserves a lot of credit. That atmosphere was great the fans were great it was a lot of fun to be around.:thumb:

Linemen do win games but the skilled positions will always receive the credit. They have been talking a lot about how Sam Bradford hasn't been hit much which is a credit to the linemen but I haven't seen them breakdown each matchup. Oklahoma's line though is in for a dog fight trying to keep up with Florida's D-Line. They are the fastest group in the nation. I can't wait to watch this one tonight.

Does anyone on here have any stats from either team. Points per game, leading scorer/rebounder. I was doing some research and can't find much on Mason County. Coach O'Hern hasn't posted anything on the website. If you have any help for me please pm me. Thanks in advance.

Whoa dude 2 food references did he upset you or something? IMO I don't know if he would head over there to be a head coach. I do know that he would listen to any and all coaching positions (even if that meant going to Colonel land). I don't think he's quite ready to be the head man.

I was at the game tonight and Richie is much improved from the Holmes games and Euton played better I just wish he would play inside more. I talked to Billy after the game and he is a great guy. I is worried about Mason County because they are playing extremely well right now. I will be there Friday night to and will give you my update when I get back then.

I was a little worked up over the weight room deal and might have said it while upset. My bad.

That's another can of worms that needs to be open. There are only 5 teams up here that don't have a team and most of them have a hard time fielding a JV and Varsity team. There will be a team it just may take a little time that's all.

I am hoping to make a game or two. I'm getting excited and can't wait for everything to get going this year.:jump::jump::jump:

I really hope your right. It just blows my mind that this has to be discussed. We are talking about an 8th grade weight room program or a varsity level baseball team. I just don't get it.

Maybe the coaches from years ago didn't care enough to get the team ready. Hense the reason we have a new coach. A coach that wants the best for his team.

It's the 8th grade are you kidding me? I know the 8th graders are the future but the future is now for baseball. Those guys start throwing in just over a moth and can't get into the weight room that's amazing. Something has to give if you want baseball to have a shot at all.

I'll take HHS by 5. I hope they can put together a complete game.

I didn't mean that Will was a bad person at all. I love the kid and think he is a great role model for younger children. Someone that I would want my kids to look up to. You all are right about Dale doing whatever he wants to do because you can not argue with his accomplishments on the field. Dale wants his guys in there and that's fine. That's just the way he is.

Let me start this by saying I love what Will Bardo has and think he is going to do great at HHS but IMO to think that he doesn't need a coach is crazy. He has someone that will work with him to make him better qb and better person and possibly get him prepared for the next level, but if you all think that he can do it on his own then best of luck to him. I know the majority or the people want HHS to shine and have the best people come out of there but there are people in here that just criticize everything. HHS is an amazng program that has athletes left and right and just because they are bigger than normal or anything else people ride them. Again this is just my opinion

No one is secong guessing but the thread asks how can HHS improve and that might be able to improve them next year. At least I would hope it would help. It can't hurt I know that for a fact.

Are you sure about that? Just curious what is the rule? I don't think he has played any varsity so if he wanted to I think he could go but he isn't going anywhere.
