Totally agree!! Love the rivalry that has emerged with Scott and Brossart since Scott joined the district. Serious but mutual respect--What HS sports is all about!! I'm a big Brad Carr fan, but maybe a little bigger Mike Code fan!!

You could certainly throw in Ben Uebel on that team, who seldom gets any notice--PG who quietly runs these team very efficiently, plays well against the frequent press, plays solid "D", and scores when needed.

Alex Trentman (one of the most athletic bigs in the area, great rebounder & improving scorer) and Drew Burns (big, strong, underrated post moves, strong rebounder) of Brossart don't get enough mention with the above kids. I'm another that wouldn't consider Schulte, Holbrook, Carter and Barnes really "under-rated"? Also agree with Crim, Seibert & Pauly.

Forgot they got popped by Brossart along the way, but I agree that Brad is working them to get ready for the District showdown. Sent a message to the players at the end of the BB game, and it sounds like another last night?

Great rivalry but personal experiences to the contrary on the bolded above? Teams also included kids from multiple other so called "hated rivalries" of BB like CCH, Holy Cross, Campbell, Scott, etc.

Curious what your feelings are on a Varsity starter playing on the JV team in a JV district tourney as I heard recently happened? Similar situation where its certainly legal, but is it really in the spirit of JV ball??

Not sure this will be as close as many think? Camels 4 of 5 came against Nicholas Cty., Harrison Cty., Walton, Augusta (who kinda' gave this one away with a FT collapse in the 4th) & then blown out by Scott (who SK beat by 1). Not the meat of their schedule. Good to see McGovney back playing well, but I think an angry SK squad will win this one handily on senior night. SK 70 CC 54

Not I, as i'm not in the know on those types things; but it's noticeable that along with BB, Campbell, Bellevue and some others aren't in the field? CC & BB in particular have fielded some pretty good freshmen teams over the years--Maybe its a "regional except for Alexandria" rule?? :D

Agree this is always a quality event--Just curious like TAC why they don't "invite" all the NKY teams (at least all the old 9th region) to a "regional" tournament? Best of luck to all the participants.
