I think that some 10th region teams that played all their freshman as freshman would have yielded a different result!

I don't feel it is right to play varsity starters on the freshman squad..... Or any varsity players at all for that matter. But never the less congratulations to Augusta. Bright future ahead.

For a school like Augusta with only 16 boys in their freshman class, I wouldn't be surprised if they need to play them just to field a full team.

That is simply speculation, but I do think each school should make the decision based on what works best for their program as a whole.

These 2 kids played Freshman ball all year, and without them, wouldn't have enough to field the team.

No, they held districts a few weeks ago. The top 2 advanced to regionals. Augusta beat Scott in the semis and Paris in the finals. Paris advanced by beating Harrison County.

For Campbell County, Matt Wilson starts varsity and Trent McGovney starts JV and is one of the first off the bench for varsity.

Saw both of them for the first time Friday night. Had they both played, I agree...two really good young players.
