Scout just put out their early rankings of the playersfrom 2012. Towles came in as the #23 QB overall and a 3 Star. Now, real star rankings have not beenreally done yet (only about 10 5-stars right now), so this kid could end up as a 4 star on their site. Pretty cool.

I can see why he chose UK. Newton is a JR this year, and the guys behind him are very unproven. Could come in with a pretty good shot at playing early. This is awesome, I love to see KY kids make it to UK.

Saying Pike was a top 100 player was misleading. He came in the top 30 players overall, which is even better!!! That is a huge accomplishment, especially for a Kentucky QB. I'm happy for this young man, I can't wait to watch him in college. I also saw where Dorial Green-Beckham was the #1 player. I've read he is the real deal.

I'm not sure who all he has. One of my friends is a coach there now, but he did not say who else had been hired or if they were finished hiring.

No I won't. Just one win from any of my teams is all I ask for. I just want to enjoy a championship, buy the T-shirts and limted edition package from SI. Just one is fine with me, I'm not greedy with teams I root for. Now if I'm involved, I want to win every stinkin one there is.

It was up there with the football win over LSU for me. I was way to young to realize how big a title was in '96 and '98, I thought it was an every year right of passage. IF UK can just win one in the next few years I will never ask for another one the rest of my life. I just want to see one of my teams win the big one :thumb:.

This one would have qualified as one of the most epic title games in tourney history IMO. Best UK game I've seen in a long while. Could not be happier.

I can't remeber being so pumped after a UK game. YES!!!! Harellson, I am so, so, so, so, so, so sorry. You are the heart and soul of this basketball team. To me, you along with guys like Patrick Patterson, Chuck Hayes and I think eventually Deandre Liggins are the definition of Kentucky Wildcats.

Neither the school I went to, nor the school I student teach at have much Spring Football. It's a numbers game. Actually WC may have some this year, I really haven't been around enough to pay alot of attention, so I could be wrong.

How did that go? Did you guys have good numbers? One of the coaches there is a friend, I meant to text him and see how he's been, but I never have the time.:thumb:

Clyde, I don't remember the name of it to be honest. It's a local channel out of Lexington but I don't think it's Wazoo Sports. It's channel 99 on Time Warner Cable in the Morehead/Carter County area. I'll see if they show the name on the channel at some point tonight.

Watched it on TV, and I have to agree with you.

I hated to see Rowan lose like that, but this was a great championship game. Congrats to Christian County, they've had a great week at the tourney. For the kid to hit a game winning shot in the state championship it doesn't get any better than that. He'll be a legend in Christian County for the rest of his life. Keep your head up Rowan County, it was a great run. Man what a great game, I wish I could have been there rather than watching it on the tv, working on my stupid TPA.
