Indiana's AD said it wasn't the money. Several IU alum have been very unhappy with Crean and the season (Other seasons , too.). Recruiting fine, Fundamentals horrible. Lousy fourth quarters. Glad the season is over.

There have been proven physiological changes in the brains of male 20 year olds using marajuana . I am sure alcohol consumption leads to changes too. The reckless behaviors exhibited behind the wheel of a car are bad enough. We shouldn't offer them another tool for their immature behaviors. They are not mature, no matter what they think. So NO marajuana use for under 21 for me.

I'm thinking the First Degree charge means "premeditation". Maybe that was the jury's problem.

I brew tea all the time. Start with fresh cold water and bring to a boil. Pour over tea in a pot and cover . Steep for 5 minutes. You can put loose tea in a ball or strain it thru a tea strainer from the pot. Leaves settle to the bottom of a pot, also. I prefer to leave the tea loose while steeping. Yes , cold tea should be made this way ,too.

I have problems categorizing all low achievers as being dumb or lazy. I have a granddaughter with learning problems. It is painful to watch her struggle with testing especially. Getting B's and C's are hard work for her at all times. She is neither dumb nor lazy.

Probably the most important award I received was at high school graduation. A local award selected by high school teachers given to a student exhibiting qualities of scholarship, citizenship, loyalty to school, and leadership. It came with a monetary award of $100.00. I used the money as a down payment on a 51 Ford to drive to work and borrowed the rest from my local banker. I was a very poor tenant farm kid with a sick brother. The money really helped and years later I contributed to keep the funds available to other students.

My family went last year for this week at the Army All American game. We had a great time.

Louisville, Lexington, Cincinnati. I was born in California, lived there until twelve. Then grew up in Indiana. Army in Texas, Ft Knox, & MD. Back to IN then and in retirement FL and IN. Mom was from southern IN. Think that did it.
