I have only been able to find regular season stats. http://www.maxpreps.com does not go into the playoffs with stats neither does KHSAA Does it just take a few days or is this something only available for each team?

What can we expect to see from the Blackcats next Friday when they play DeSales. Is there anyone here in Luivull that is similar?

Congrads guys on your win. Someone said at the end of the night that Shelby Valley won and I was a little surprised as no one had them picked, but who thought Danville would go down. That has to be the biggest upset. Good to play some teams we are unfamiliar with as Corbin or Danville are the norms. Have a safe trip and enjoy our hospitality. They may have run a lot of recent, but they are capable of passing anywhere on the field. I feel against DeSales they may be more of a passing team in an attempt to exploit the secondary.

So why did they get rid of him? This is not the type of team they have had in the past obviously. Must have been a good reason.

Very true about the defensive backs needing to be ready as well as the defensive line better be ready to put pressure on the quarterback the entire game. I do not think the offensive line of CAL will get tired.

I would love to see Bardstown knock off Danville.

We are fortunate to have Sander at DeSales. I hope he stays at least long enough to send DeSales to a state championship. He has been an asset to the school and the football program.

They look like they have some good size players.

I observed a team that did not seem to have the desire to play at their games. They seemed to be there to get it over with and had no intensity or desire to do anything but see the clock hit 00:00 to signal the end of the game. I saw a kickoff return in which the kid seemed scared to handle the ball and certainly did not want to take a hit. It was a team of kids that seemed to not want to play the game. It was like watching flag football with a bunch of kids. No organization, desire, or will to win. Is it coaching? I would say to a certain extent. The program has to start with youths that have fundamentals and are coached through their younger years preparing themselves for the big boys. Football is a game of men overcoming adversity on the field, not boys leaning the game. If you do not know the game by high school it is too late. The rest is desire and motivation. It takes a lot of dedication in the off-season. Those teams that work hard in the off-season are the ones you see advance in the post-season.

That is why it makes one wonder why CAL is not favored in this match-up. DeSales was favored to win the first match-up as well. DeSales has improved a lot since the first meeting. Has CAL made the necessary corrections? That will be determined Friday night and will have the makings of a great 2nd round playoff game.

I think it will be a little higher scoring than 15-14 and will not be that close as the team with the momentum will run with it. The final score will be somewhere in the 20's. I will be willing to say the higher score will make it to the 30's this game. Will be interesting to see.

I agree with your statement 100% and feel eliminating the winless team in the district would go a long way in creating a more exciting first round playoff game.

CAL will come to play and will not leave anything on the table. I agree, will be one of the best games in the area. Hope it will be covered as such as well.

All of the Colts are healthy and eager to get back on the field for a legitimate game this Friday at Manuel stadium. I feel as long as they play sound football and create turnovers this game could very well be over early. The momentum will be on their side with home field advantage.
