Northern Kentucky DIII Preseason POY
D-3 are the small schools... Beechwood Bellevue Dayton Villa Calvary Heritage Siver Grove Ludlow
-
Cooper High
Now all Cooper needs is to go after Ludlow's basketball coach and they will have the hat trick of Ludlow's coaches...
-
Villa Madonna 2008/2009
Kyle Williamson from Ludlow. He is a left-handed guard/forward who has a little bit of strength also. However IMO I don't think anywhere close to POY...

Bellevue/Newport Predictions
Yes, Buckler did score both touchdowns. One on a inside the five run and another on a pass from Babb, which was a very good catch, but in saying that it was the defense which FORCED so many turnovers. The speed for Newports back should be contained with Buckler at corner and Hunninghake at linebacker. Bellevue will be ready for this one with a solid week of practice.. The real jungle cats will take this one. I can't wait to hear that fight song... GO BELLEVUE!!! :dancingpa

Highlands' star RB Josh Conner hurt -broken fibula-
The big deal is he isn't just your average RB. Now we never said Highlands is done without him, because they most certainly are not, but we're talking about a Mr. Football canidate, and also the biggest leader of a team to try and attempt 30 straight and back-to-back state championships. Good luck to Highland and would be pretty amazing to see it. Hope the recovery goes fast... :thumb:

Bellevue's Hunter Jones
Actually they did. That was also the same day that they beat CovCath

Bellevue's Hunter Jones
Sorry guys, but Bellevue also beat Highlands last year at Bellevue... Bellevue didn't really lose to much. Just think Bellevue always exceeds the expectations they receive in everything so even if they are jsut top 10 I think they will end up top 5... Just think about Hunter's senior year... :dancingpa

Holmes 2008/2009
I thoght Nky basketball had a big down grade from last year?

Heritage Academy 2008/2009
That gym was hands down the worst ever. The floor was rubber, and also some speculation as a player thet the three point line wasn't regulation... :sssh:

Bellevue/Newport Predictions
It is a must for Bellevue to have a good week of practice after their exibition against Walton Verona. Wills needs to work hard on the passing and his teammates need to stick behind him if they want to pull this one out. Good luck Tigers... :ylsuper:

Bellevue's Hunter Jones
I was in a chat with Coach Sanders today and a couple of kids from Bellevue that said Jones is back at Bellevue. Sorry CovCath:lol: I think with Jones coming back Bellevue is top 5 9th region team in my opinion.
-
Villa Madonna 2008/2009
No offense to either of the young men, but IMO neither of these two will be POY. Both were shut down in the important games againest bellevue. Romes is going to be the player to watch in D-3 hands down. Big, Strong, and very quick.

2008 Dayton
Not exactly sure, but I believe Dayton only had like 32 players last year, and IMO did pretty well :sssh:...

Top Jr's in Northern Ky
I thought that he was a senior this year? A junior that could have another great year is Ricky Buckler from Bellevue.

Bellevue Coach Out????
Yes one transfer was Hunter Jones, but now there is speculation of him not returning, not sure yet, but the other one is Marcus Reynolds... I've heard he moved up to michigan, but supposedly coming back? Other than that they really have no one returning that's to strong.. At one point Bellevue had 5 starting seniors and the sixth man a senior.. Good luck to them and the new coach, try to get back to regionals

Gas prices in your city...How much???

2008 Bellevue
1. Must find the replacement QB. If it will be either Hunninghake or Wills one of them must step up to be the leader of the offense. 2. Fill the holes in the O-line. Berns and Bowling are going to be tough to replace. 3. Must have good leadership, the leadership from last year was excellent and you seniors this year must keep the same intensity the seniors from last year had. Overall, Bellevue should be good again this year. You guys playing know what you have to do this year and make sure you get it done. Coach Eckstein make sure that the boys are ready. Good luck next year and to the seniors this year make everything count because you will never forget this year your life and when its over you will miss it. CW

Johnny Pabst Signs with Thomas More
Congrats to Johnny, he is one of my friends and good luck to him next year.

Top returning players in NKY
Bellevue will be okay. They lose all but 3 starters on offense which will hurt badly, but the defense should be decently strong with quite a few players coming back like 5 or 6 starters on a turnover filled d.. good luck tigers! :jump:

Bellevue 9 Cov Cath 8
