Now that the season is over, does Highlands still move up the Freshmen to the Varsity? If they do, do they move them all up or pick and choose?

I guess my most of the time would be geared to college where they are not teaching. But it happens at high schools also. Dale Mueller would be one and Chris Wolfe would be a couple off the top of my head.

I agree with you to an extent. But when those said coaches win with less, guess what happens most of the time. They move up to the big schools.

I think senior night has more to do with the parents. Unless this is the last game ever for your senior, senior night doesn't mean much in my eyes.

I will agree with something you said earlier, if the kids, parents, coaches, and school don't care about moving up, why should anyone else care?

If Cov Cath stayed in 4A, which Nky district do they go into? I would think as a fan of Cooper, I would want the best shot of a state title. If you don't think Cooper can compete, I guess it doesn't matter. They must have gotten real lucky a couple of years ago. I guess that was a fluke.

How many school districts do not have open enrollment. My understanding the majority of school districts are open enrollment.

I would say most fans are. This game doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things. Get a win, get out of it with no injuries, and finish working on the little things getting ready for the playoffs.

I definitely do not follow the stats, but I know he made a 46 yard field goal against Campbell County so whatever stats they said on TV were not correct.

I didn't see the stats but if Highlands gave up 280 in the 1st half, does that mean they gave up less than 40 in the second half. Sounds like the DC made some great adjustments

I would say if he hadn't verbally committed to a school that would still honor the verbal, he will need to walk on to a school and earn a scholarship.

And this is why Cov Cath thinks they have a chance. When was the last time you made a statement that Highlands was competitive against Cooper and Ryle? The fact Cov Cath feels they have a chance this year has more to do with Highlands being down than Cov Cath thinking they are unbeatable.

I didn't say Cov Cath was up. But Cov Cath is about the same they have been in the past. Highlands has beaten almost every team very soundly until this year. When was the last time Highlands lost to 3 NKY teams in the same season. And not just lost, but not really been competitive. That is why I think Cov Cath feels they have the best chance to win in a long time. That being said, I think Highlands wins in a nail biter.
