That's a shame. I really like the BOK. But I feel the "environment" is different than when we had it at Holmes, Ryle, and Conner. Plus add in the extra cost for patrons, I'm not sure it's the best arena for this tournament. I'll be attending the boys semis and finals, so we'll see.

 

HS basketball is made to be played in HS gyms! There should only be one tournament not played in HS gyms and that is the state tournament. I am sure BOK is nice and they do a pretty good job, but it is not the same. BOK is an athletic facility. I want my HS games in a gym!!! Call me oldschool i guess.

I'm not so sure HHS did not do NDA a huge favor with the slow down strategy. The big win over Ryle on Saturday may have been the result of having fresher players down the home stretch and if they are able to pull another upset this afternoon against Boone, I think a thank you card is in order!

You are correct, "a picture speaks a thousand words". Why are people blaming this "spiritless" game on Highlands. It's obvious by this picture that NDA played a major role. They could have and should have forced Highlands to play ball but instead they stood there and chatted with each other! :popcorn:

You stake out a position that this game cheated the players and the fans and now many others are saying it was one of the most memorable games of the tourney. Which is it? It can't be both.:clap:

Oh it can be both, not sure why those couldn't be mutually exclusive. I like how Moss and the Rebels went out. Used every weapon they had to the bitter end. Highlands had some nice players who I enjoyed watching all season. 2 minutes was not enough. I will try to not interpret the little smiley clapping thing you used in your post, if you don't mind.
