They were absolutely horrible while UK was trailing and just fine once UK got the lead. :D

 I actually thought it was the other way around!! They were OK (just letting EVERYTHING go, both ways) up until the Davis T. It was pretty bad after that.

I missed that. What did he say?

Basically talking about Beckham and how him transferring to UK was a good thing for him because he's earner the best tickets around to watch a UK game and went on to say something about has he even scored for UK? etc etc.

Said Twany had good tickets to watch UK play, and asked if Twany had even shot the ball. Then said it was taken "out of context."

Stansbury: "I saw his stats the other day in SEC play. Did he make one or attempt one shot?"

Stansbury: "He's seeing some pretty good basketball. He's getting a front-row ticket every night. Yes, sir."

Stansbury and Darin Horn should get together and start a funeral home. Theses guys are creepy looking. Should Moultre have been shown the door for trying to trip TJ 2 feet in front of the ref? At that point of the game with the tempers flaring?

I agree with creepy looking coaches. The Flagrant 1 on Moultre was the proper call.

I agree. As far the trip I dunno I'm torn, I've seen guys get tripped or picked hard with a knee and it end up in a pretty serious knee injury. If he catch's Jones right and his knee buckles then you could be talking about a season ending injury. Granted that's not what happened and that may not have been his intent however I believe his intent was to trip which ultimately means an intention to injure the opposing player.

You're trying to make it sound like Teague is awful or something. He has played great as of late and had an off night. N harm in that, Cal rode that run till the end, same as if it had been Teague on the floor and Miller or Jones struggling. All about momentum.

I don't think that's what he was saying at all. Teague was in foul trouble and when Cal put him back in the team didn't seem to have the same flow. Smart coaching if you ask me to leave him on the bench. As it turned out they didn't need him down the stretch. He'll be fine and they will need him going forward.

Loved that they truly got tested tonight, and also then overcoming it! Go Cats!

Really encouraging game this late in the season when you have a young team. Nice to get tested on the road going into the tournaments.

Not only that, Teague played very well the first 10 minutes or so tonight. After that though, he stunk it up. With the team playing poorly, he was trying to do too much and when he tries to do too much he just isn't good. How about the Cats pulling that one out with Teague struggling and a short bench due to Wiltjer's injury. MKG was great on Bost.

I honestly feel like Teague slipped back into his old self last night when Bost started tearing it up. It seemed like he started forcing the the issue and didn't want to be shown up. He will be okay though. Was anyone else worried that when Teague got his technical and there was a Miss St. player laying on the floor, that Teague gave another groin shot?

The only team who can beat UK is themselves. That showed tonight. They played horrible in the first and trailed, played like themselves in the second and pulled it out.

I think that it was a matter of MSU playing up to their potential and beyond (see: out of their minds) than anything UK did. UK stepped up the second half, MSU came back down to Earth, and the rest is history. Again, I've said it since they won heading into the North Carolina game. This is my favorite UK team of all time. They are the most unselfish group, best defending group, and "we just get it" group. They may not have as much depth and talent as '96, but they play team basketball.

Great to see the Cats come back. It took a lot of heart and desire to get it done, and they did.

I don't want to disappoint my fan club, and I missed out in the update thread, so... how terrible were the refs?

I thought they were pretty consistent last night...consistently bad at least haha!

I'm with swamprat. I don't think he deserved to be ejected for it.

We'll agree to disagree on that one. He purposely kicked him as he was running down the floor. Why is that different than punching a player? The intent is exactly the same.

The Cats came out of that battle on top. It went about how I thought it was going too. For people to say that Coach Cal doesn't coach well during games should just look at this one last night and that conversation should be over. Yes it was Miller tearing it up in the second half, and MKG playing awesome D against Bost (who killed us in the first) but I think if you really broke down this game, you could see a lot of adjustments that Cal deserves credit for!

Glad nothing is serious with Wiljter, at least I haven't heard anything serious.

I will admit, I had a hard time sleeping last night. Got a little worked up haha!

I'm not going to be the first to start posting them (but I might jump in if someone else does haha) but there were some pretty solid one-liners about Renardo Sidney on Twitter last night.

I agree. A punch is an ejection. A stomp is an ejection. Why shouldn't a kick be an ejection? It wasn't like he accidentally tripped a guy driving to the basket. He intentionally ran up behind Terrance with the intent to kick/trip him.
