Give him a full season in the weight room in the off season, and he'll be a very good player the next 3 years. Gotta love the UK fans that refuse to give a kid a chance.

Really just needs to work on his defense and his game off the dribble. We know he can shoot from long range and he showed us tonight that he can play well in the post. Young man just needs to keep working hard and he will be fine.

His footwork down low should be taught to all of the other big men.

Very inconsistent player and is very scared when handling the ball. He is good on the stop and shoot. He sctually abuses the offense to fall out of rhythm when he handles the ball and it showed tonight. He needs to grow more confidence and gain some more muscle. I say in a year or so he will be s pretty good player but not right now.

February 5, 201214 yr You know if Kentucky had played more true road games in their out of conference schedule they might have been able to maintain their 40 point lead instead of allowing South Carolina to cut it to 34.

February 5, 201214 yr With Wiltjer and Vargas needing the minutes and Davis/Jones/Kidd-Gilcrest needing not to get injured, I do not get why Cal doesn't go to the bench earlier. Davis' last play could have gone very wrong (finger, wrist, elbow...)

I say in a year or so he will be s pretty good player but not right now. has he really proven otherwise to this point? Yes he has proven that he doesn't suck. The only thing this proven is when this fan base gets spoiled, they consider anything that is not "GREAT" to suck. It was the same thing when Pitino spoiled us UK fans, and people even during the title year considered Tubby as a coach that sucked. Coach Cal has now spoiled us with great players who can be some of the best players in the nation starting as freshman. So when we see a freshman who does not step in right away and dominate, people say he sucks. It is not the player, its the fans who have become spoiled. He is a good player, just now a great player like we have become use to. He is the normal freshman with talent who will have good moments, but also tough moments. Not to mention playing the few minutes that he does, is not going to help him stop having freshman mistakes. He is good he just plays on the most talented team in the country though, so his game obviously is not as good as the rest. However he is a far way away from sucks.
