I also heard that Ryle's coach Warner has sent a written complaint to the KHSAA because there just isn't enough room on the vistors sidelines at David Cecil Memorial field for his water boy. It is only a matter of time before there is a spillage and someone gets wet.

Ru, I hope when you select the All BGP Water Boy team it's based on high school performance and not D-1 potential. I've seen way too many high school water boys get too much hype just because they were offered schollies.

Yes but they aren't there for the water. It is a great academic school.

I heard Dixie's new Coach Brossart has restricted waterboys to the track area only. He doesn't want a referree tripping over a waterboy while running down the sideline and throwing a flag in an important game.

But they come from a long line of waterboys, 23rd generation I believe. They stand on the shoulders of other great waterboys and have learned to carry like a champion from their grandfathers, grandmothers, uncles, aunts, cousins, in-laws, outlaws..... Oh, and they all get their talent from their mother's side.

A couple of questions for the NKy folks...

 

Why would Campbell County even NEED waterboys? Seems like a waste of resources considering who they are.

 

And doesn't DIXIE have an unfair advantage over other schools who probably don't have the same free access to quality drinking cups?
