It is, so selfish the Camel administration wouldn't even let the C.C. Red Devils share their water supply. Just kicked them out after 30 years I hear.

 

Truth is Camp. Co. won't let the Red Devil waterboys share their water because they all end up serving water at Newport Central Catholic. Everyone knows it is a "feeder program" (AKA sprinkler system) for NCC.

True, but we are selfish with our water boys nonetheless. That's why we refused to share with Brossart even after we charged them a small fortune to share in the past.

 

Never understood how the private schools pay for water and sanitation in the County but still can't drink from their water fountains?

Speaking of the SK waterboys, word around town is that all but one of them is entertaining multiple D1 offers due to them being so much better than the rest of NKY, including Pendleton, Gallatin and Grant counties! Not sure what is wrong with the one who is not, but rumor has it that it is due to his father dogging the wrong people.

I'm really proud of all the waterboys at the local high schools. Taking the time to study all the various purification methods as well as keep up with their traditional classes. It shows a real thirst for knowledge.

Back in 2006, when Mercer County and Harrodsburg merged to form the new Mercer County, I heard the Harrodsburg waterboys had a liquidation sale on any remaining water bottles.

Gloria Steinem has heard rumblings of this thread, and is threatening to file suit in Federal Court as the term "Waterboy" is sexist. She has demanded that the title be changed to Water Person, or Hydration Engineer, and will agree to not file suit if it can be guaranteed that either gender will receive equal pay for performing the task.

Wait to you hear this! I just found out one of our parents (not sure which one, but I have an idea) wrote an anoymous letter to the coach and administration about what a bad job the coach was doing. It really has nothing to do with the quality of the water boy, just the fact that his boy was not getting to carry enough water. I hope the coach doesn't get run out and head to another school in the same county? I have a copy of the letter, but I'm not going to post it on here or tell anybody who I think wrote it.
