My team's water boy just delivered his 1,000TH cup of water!!! Congrats to him. I'm sort of disappointed more people didn't recognize him for the accomplishment.

1,000 is impressive. However, catching Billy "The Fountain" Baker and his 2,875 cups is going to be a challenge.

How about Dave "The Wellspring" Weller? He had 2,213 cups back in the days before they legalized the drink carrier. He had to carry all of those cups with nothing but his hands!

I think with all the waterboy concussions last year, I think a lot of teams will be headed for a dry run this year.

1) For maximum "props" you should have started a thread just on this accomplishment.

2) Do not expect each person who reads the thread to give him an atta-boy, does not work that way.

3) Don't forget that there is always scrutiny when the water boy is reclassified, does not matter even if he has delivered his 2000th cup or even broke the school's cup record.

What do you think of the new rules of cup carrying that are being enforced this year. Are the Refs calling it tighter on the holds or are they just holding tighter?

I hope all the Waterboys got their flu shots! Hate to see them miss a big game when their team needs them more than ever.

Is it true that the Waterboy who just transferred into Louisville from Auburn was caught substituting water with the "Clear" stuff either before or during the games. If true I would think that would put him on Double Secret Probation and would trigger an H2O investigation.

There is a local 8th grade waterboy watering up to the high school varsity. It is not fair that he takes the spot of a high school waterboy especially considering the fact that he plans on attending a different high school next year.
