December 12, 201114 yr I like this guy's take on Tebow. http://www.midwestsportsfans.com/2011/12/tim-tebows-post-game-comments-a-lesson-in-leadership/
December 12, 201114 yr A lot of people try to define "it". Some guys have "it", Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods pre-fire hydrant, Tom Brady..etc. I look at Tim Tebow and think, that's "IT". Obviously, he lacks in some really important skills at the quarterback position but he makes up for it by knowing who he is and what he does best. Brett Favre got it done slinging it all over the field, sometimes good, sometimes bad. Tebow keeps giving his team a chance to win and that's all that matters.
December 13, 201114 yr It would be a little hard to argue he does not have "it" right now. The guy is a proven winner on and off the field. I'm not sure how he keeps winning on the field, but he does it on a regular basis. It'll be interesting to see what Elway can do with him in the offseason.
December 13, 201114 yr I'm slowly becoming a fan of Tebow, but I don't know if I'd include him in a list of athletes like Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods or Tom Brady just yet. A lot of the wins he's gotten have come because of big plays made by other players as well. He's their leader and he's doing a great job though.
December 13, 201114 yr I used to be anti-Tebow, but I'm on board now! Welcome. I've liked Tebow since his freshman year at Florida, he's got a great attitude and a passion for the game.

Tebow has the same leadership qualities and will to win these did, he just doesn't have the same amount of talent.
December 13, 201114 yr With so many shady and criminal athletes out there, ie. Kobe, Big Ben, Vick, Suh, I could go on for days, it's refreshing to see an actual decent human being doing well. If not for football, Tebow would still be successful in life and give back to his fellow man. If not for the NFL and NBA, I'd say 1/3 to 1/2 the players would be in jail or have done time or been killed in illegal activity. God Bless Tim Tebow!

December 13, 201114 yr I was anti-Tebow as well. I absolutely love what he is currently doing. Being himself and making his teammates believe in him, stepping up his game in crunch time, and winning. It's like spitting in the face of all his critics, it gives me the feeling of satisfaction.

December 13, 201114 yr He has the ability to make those around him better. I think that's the "it" in my opinion.
December 13, 201114 yr I am trying to like him but not gonna lie. I am kind of tired of hearing about him already. I think I have "Tebowlash!":lol::lol:
December 13, 201114 yr I am trying to like him but not gonna lie. I am kind of tired of hearing about him already. I think I have "Tebowlash!":lol::lol: I don't blame you. I have been thinking about this, and the thing that I have taken away from this is Tebow is about the most realistic athlete that I've seen, but more importantly HE ISN'T AFRAID TO FAIL. He knows that he is not the best QB in the world, but he also knows that he is as good as he can be at this moment. He then goes out and does his absolute best. He's not afraid to lay an egg. He's going to go all out. A lot of guys don't have that (see James, LeBron). Win or lose, he doesn't lose faith in himself and not continue to work hard. There's a lot to be taken from that. In about 3 weeks and in the playoffs, teams will stop the read option, or they will dig into a hole too deep to climb out of. However, next season, Tebow will be better than he is now. He may never justify a first round pick purely as a passer, but what he brings to the team and the locker room just might.
