I'm a Texas fan. Have been since my childhood and the days of Darrell Royal and the Wishbone.

 

I still think Oklahoma State should have been in based solely on the fact that they had not had an opportunity vs. LSU while the Tide had. Simple as that to me. I thnk the BCS was close to the same rationale. If I'm not mistaken the difference in the computer between the two was one of the closest margins ever. (If I'm mistaken I'm sure you can let me know)

You can choose whoever you want in the NC game, but the nation has moved on from OSU who has lost to a 6-7 team. I know I use that a lot but thats the difference, and they had a chance and lost. LSU/Bama played and thats true, but after all is said and done and they evaluated the season, they let the system work, and they got it right. In fact we are now a 1 and 1/2 favorite and a week ago it was even, and we are playing in their state.

 

You are not mistaken on the computer rankings, very close. Just like a play at the one yard line when our reciever had the ball taken after he was down. Sometimes things just work out for a reason. Enjoy the game.

That what I'm saying, I was actually going to root for Bama in this one. However something along the way made me change my mind now haha, go LSU.

You understand that who ever you pick is fine with Bama fans on here. I've said this many times..."If everyone in Kentucky liked Bama, I'd have no fun'. Look, I didn't get upset with you, man I have much more I'm dealing with than your comments. What frustraded me is I agreed with you on a playoff and talked about a Plus One on this site many times. What concerned me you kept saying Bama is there due to "opinions" and I was/am trying to tell you its always been like that. And you had to add little remarks about Bama.

 

Why were you trying to tell me that? How many times have I said I know how the system works. However once again you felt like was a shot, and made a huge deal out of it. It is opinions for why Bama is there, and that is a fact. I know it is done like that every year, and that is why every year I talk about that and how the system sucks. However since you felt the need to enlighten me as you said, you did make it a bigger deal than what it was. Which is then what led me to saying things like your little ole Bama team. I had not put them down at all, and yet you made it a much bigger deal than what it was. You were the one who needed to be enlightened to the fact that you were arguing something for no reason.

 

I respect how much you care for your team, and I mean I love the teams I root for too. However this ended up being a longer discussion than what it ended up being and for no reason haha. I think Bama will win, so come Monday I am sure you will be celebrating big time. :thumb:

I am rooting for LSU but have felt like Bama will get the victory. I wonder how much of an effect the crowd will be? That has not been discussed much.

:thumb: You have to represent your team. I'd be for LSU against anyone other than the U or UK. I really like Les Miles. If they were playing Michigan or Chip Kelly I'd be neutral. Les Miles seems so crazy it is impossible for me to not root for him.
