A lot of chatter out there that a lot of those with votes in the AP polls are saying unless Bama blows out LSU, we're probably looking at a split championship if Bama wins. :idunno:

BCS has no split, even if Bama wins 2-0 they win the BCSNC. And you want to crown a team who just lost, LSU, or a team who lost to a 6-7 team? Bama lost back in November 5th, and so did all the other schools, the games were played out and it is what it is. We win and its number 14!!!!! You need to read the experts.

Who are the experts? He was citing what the AP poll may reflect.

Which makes sense. I mean LSU went undefeated, beat Bama at Bama, won the SEC West, won the SEC Championship, and has the most impressive resume out of anyone. If Bama barely beats them on a neutral field, why should Bama be National Champs and LSU nothing? Why does Bama get rewarded for only playing in the SEC too, not having to beat any other top teams, not even being able to win their league, or beat LSU. But only needs to win one more game to be National Champs? If there was a playoff and they worked there way through other top teams to get there, and then beat LSU in a rematch then it would be fine. However Bama did nothing to really improve their resume since they lost to LSU, they just got help from others. So I could see why they would still vote LSU #1 if it is a close game that Bama wins.

 

For the record I do think Bama wins in a close one, so it will be interesting to see those final votes in the AP.

I posted on this thread right above, the AP is no factor, All the AQ schools agreed to the BCS format. One AP reporter has said no matter what Bama does he will vote for LSU, so this shows the mental state of some people. He even used the score of 63-0 Bama. get another job, he will lose his.

I think you are looking for an argument and no person is arguing about the validity, or lack-there-of, of an AP title or a legitimacy of a split national championship simply because it does not exist. There is nothing to argue. It holds no more weight than a BGP poll. I think everybody gets that.

He sounds like me about the Bengals, except no one is even saying anything about Bama to get even so mad about haha. He got mad at me for saying how it is not right that opinions determine who are in the National Title game. I do agree that I think Bama is the 2nd best team right now, but doesn't mean I have to agree with how College football does it. Yet he got all upset and talking about how the game is going to be played and thats all that matters. Now you mention how AP voters may not vote for them if its a close game, and which is true and he goes off. I think maybe he just is a little up tight waiting for this game.

They get paid for their comments, but I was making kinda of joke about those two, to make my point. ESPN/Fox Sports/CBSSports/ media Vegas are not talking AP Poll. ESPN pays people to talk and that might make them experts. If not someone name me the experts, oh wait the AP media...

Bama should have won the first time, they were the better team. Now they will extract their revenge and in the process win the national championship. They are the best team in the country and they will prove it
