December 1, 201114 yr Coach, you are saying in one breath not to define all churches by this one church, but in the next breath you are judging all of Eastern KY by the actions of one very small group of Eastern Kentuckians. As others have said, please do not judge us all by this unfortunate instance of ignorance and racism. Most everyone of my Pike County neighbors are disgusted by this action and you can't paint us all with that wide a brush. You are correct. I guess I should have said this doesn't help peoples idea of EKY.

December 3, 201114 yr My daughter is a friend of the young man and the young lady that all the fuss has been made over (they met at Georgetown). She says that they're both very nice. Too bad that some folks simply can't get past skin color.
December 3, 201114 yr The Church plans a re vote to get it right. Jesus was not a white man. He was a Jewish person born a long time ago, and I bet their (Jews) skin was different than the Church in question.
