Man, this thread sure didn't need me to stir up the mud. All jabs aside it looks like both schools will win the Class they are in. Both should be pleased. If they want to win the highest class in the state then move up. Is this like arguing that the top AA baseball team could beat the top AAA team (knowing that neither could beat the World Series Champ)?

Had BG and Highlands played and Highlands got lucky and won my pride wouldn't have been stomped on. It wasn't stomped on when they beat Boyle County and it wouldn't be stomped on if they beat BG. It happens. No one is immune to a loss at some point. The two teams I root for are 3-4 all time against Highlands. BG has beaten Highlands before and would have if they would have played this year. IMO. It's ignorant to believe otherwise.

Not even close to being true. We do think we are God's gift to high schools in Ky but we know we are not God's gift to Ky high school football. I mean, we aren't ignorant.
