How does anyone that has posted an opinion in this thread know what they say is true? Did god speak to them? Unless HHS and BG play it's all speculation anyway. The difference is if anyone picks against HHS their haters and don't know what they are talking about. Heaven forbid an inferior team from the west could possibly be better than gods gift to football, the bluebirds.

 

I have not seen either play this year (only listened to the BG/Henderson game) so I can't say who is better. But I also know what happened last year, the year before, 2007, 1995, 1983, 1956, or whatever else year people want to drag up does not mean squat. I also know that BG's win over X is probably better than any win HHS has this year. I also know they both handled Lex Cath. HHS did beat Elder this year but it appears just about everybody did. HHS has the advantage at QB but for anyone that hasn't seen Scooter Hollis play he is probably the best athlete in the state no one talks about.

 

This could have been a fun thread had some of the HHS fans not gotten their panties in a wad over anyone daring to question the Birds superiority.

If UK can beat UT with a wide receiving playing quarterback then I'll say anything is possible.

Remember , Highlands beat Elder at the pit , wih Highlands D1 QB sitting on the bench with a concussion after the first series. Could BG beat Elder with their starting QB sitting on the bench ?

 

C'mon up and play some Ohio teams , other than Trinity this year , it's a whole different ball game.

 

 

I would like BG's chances against Elder at Elder with their back up qb as long as Elder was missing multiple starters from their team due to disciplinary reasons like they were against Highlands. How many starters were missing from Elder that game?

They don't have to because there is very good football in the Greater Cincinnati area...

Didn't say they weren't decent. Just pointed out that they have 8 losses and some of those losses were worse than the one to the #19 team in the country.

 

 

I think Elder could make a good argument to being #2 in our state.
