After an appeal that was heard on Nov 1st. Jaysean Paige at Perry Co Central has been cleared to play for the upcoming season.

Awesome news, I know nothing about the kid at all but read the previous thread, he came from NY. KHSAA can't play God on that.

I am glad he is eligible to play too. Plan on going to watch him and Perry Central vs Ashland @ Montgomery Co in the Joe B Hall Classic in Jan.

To give an idea of what you'll be seeing:

Glad to hear things were cleared up for this young man.

He may not have elite guys such as Dajuan Coleman around him any more but he will look like a man against boys at times around the mountains and in the 14th.

Just go ahead and pencil in Perry Central to the Sweet 16.....There is NOBODY in the 14th Region that can play with this kid.....

With this kid.....they may have a shot at the state championship!!!!!

Dec. 16th and 17th they play Henry Clay and Scott County back to back. These should be great games with the level of talent both of those teams have.

Perry Central was going to be the favorite to win the 14th even without Paige. Now they should be a lock.

Wasn't that the plan? So why have any transfer rules? Just let the kids play where ever they want to play.

One word for Khsaa JOKE !!

i'm hearing that he is not eligible???????

Don't know tons about what they have other than what I've read, but I'm somewhat intrigued by Cordia (at least at this point). Could be an interesting team to watch develop during the season, and if they do, they could give PCC a run.

I am also hearing he is not eligible? Guess we will find out at the PCC/Rowan scrimmage tomorrow.
