November 22, 201114 yr Joe Nathan signs with the Rangers- the Rangers will try to convert Neftali Feliz to a starter for next season. This worked with CJ WIlson, but I liked having Nefti closing for the Rangers.

I've said this before, but I really don't see the excitement of adding another WC team. The only potential for excitement during the end of the regular season is going to be whether a team gets in, or doesn't. For example this past year, all the drama surrounding the slides of Boston and Atlanta would be gone. Both would have easily gotten into this extra WC slot. Boston would've had a 4 game lead on the Angels, and Atlanta would've had a 3 game advantage over San Fran. Yes, it's going to get one other team's fan base excited about making the playoffs...very, very briefly. Someone's going home after 1 game.

November 22, 201114 yr I'm questioning why the Rangers won't try Martin Perez (Starting pitcher and the Rangers top prospect) in their rotation next year. Perez is only 20 so they have time. Also, moving Feliz to the rotation does not mean Perez will not be. He will have to show more in Spring to not be sent to the minors next year, IMO.
