Reports out of the "Panther Pavilion" also says the number is 13. Wowsa!!!

How many starters??

How many starters??

He didn't say. Just said that it was an unfortunate situation!! Starters or not, a very "Big" distraction to a football program. With that, HHS will not fall into some kind of trap thinking that this will now be an easy win for them. It's the GCL and Dale knows that. People need to realize that there is a reason Dale is the head coach at HHS.....He is all about being "Prepared to Win". And that they will be.....

Elder has played a tough schedule. Just two teams are not ranked in the Max Prep top 50. Highlands is ranked 256 and Elder is 324. Should be a good game.

Regardless of the rumor mill, this game is a big unknown for both squads and bottom line is no one is certain of how this one will play out, player suspensions or not. Most Highlands fans are more concerned with how the defense plays than getting a W.

Not me Whackem'n'Stackem. I'm ok with the offense or defense stickin the place up as long as the Birds come out with a win. Certainly i would love to see both sides of the ball play well.

Disagree. I seem to recall back in Sweeperboy's era a phrase on every HHS team t-shirt - "Play To Win"

The defensive game plan is concerning, but this fan isn't looking for any moral victory with a good defensive effort and a L for the record book.

Yeah, but you know you're interested in how the D performs. We all know the offense is a lock.

The proof will be in the pudd'n.

All year we've heard Elder had a "young team". Their O-Line is BIG, with #78 committed to play at UofL next season. I agree, at a program like Elder's, the subs are not that far behind a starter.

Go Birds! ... WE BELIEVE!

Will the Colonels have representation at the Pit for this one?

Yep.

So they'll have plenty of time to adjust to Weinrich's adjustments......:eyeonyou:

Boy, there's no pleasing you, is there Whackem!

Go 'Birds! Beat Panthers (and Colonels)!

Sure, if they, like you, assume that the adjustments for Elder are the same that may be made for the Colonels if there is a next time.

Ditto!!!!

Elder just might have the "let's get the season over with" mentality. I don't care how big the program is. It has been a terrible year for them.
