  1. I am a Scott County fan and our coach for what ever reason does not play private schools. I will say this Trinity does not dodge any football program in KY because of fear of losing.
  2. Scott County Freshman Team is 3-0 with wins over Bryan Station 41-12 Lex Cath 49-12 Paul Laurence Dunbar 21-0 Tates Creek Freshman and JV forfeit or no show. coach decided to let JV and Freshmen play JV won 30-27
  3. I think X can win this game if they come to play. Pke kept it close. Moeller has the edge coming in to the game, but I would say only would be favored by 10. Go Tigers and win this for youself and KY
  4. Looking at both teams closely Bowling Green should win by 10 to 14 points statisicly. But its hard to say because of being out of state. Ratings are based on schedules and because teams tend to play more teams witth in there state the ratings are a reflection mostly of how powerful teams with in the state are. It does say that BG is one of there toughest games. I say BG by 17.
  5. I agree I am just talking about talent. I do not know if it will be this year, I think it will be a good game but the kids mind set is T or X has always beat SC. I am not comparing programs or tradition in my post, T, X, and Highlands have the greatest programs as far as logevity, consistency of winning seasons and all around talent.
  6. Scott County is a very good tem and yes they can play on the same level
  7. I think Scott County will hold there own against T again this year. As far as talent they have 4 good running backs that can also catch the ball and the Daniels kid is the best all around athelete in the state. I would say if SC played T's schedule the out come would look the same 1 win 3 losss. Scott County is a monster to some, but they are a kitten to none. The biggest problem SC has with T is in SC player mind.
  8. I have to say unless Trinity gets beat by a KY school they are #1 in the state. I base this on the scheduals and depth of the two teams. Trinity has 130 man roster with the ability in places to go 3 deep, their schedule includes National Ranked teams Ranked 11th, 339, 29, and next up is ranked 15th in the nation. I dont put alot of faith in the rankings but they are some where in the ball park. BG with two games under there belt, they beat Lexington Cath Ranked 930 and St X ranked 223 nationaly. BG beat Lex Cath 48-21 St X beat Lex Cath 49-28 and BG beat ST X 39-25. I beleive this year there are several teams that could make an agruement that the are #1 including my team SC Cards but I would not try to lay claim to that unless the Cards were playing and equal or stronger schedual. If most teams in Ky tried to play the scheduel as T you would more than likely find you have problems with injury problems.
  9. I agree unless an in state team beats them they should be considered the #1 team not just in 6A but I could agrue #1 in the state. I think that SC, X, BG & Highlands could give them a run for the position. Thats not saying they couldnt win either, the could. The reason I put T at the top is because quality of depth and right now I dont think any team can match their depth which give T the edge.
  10. Unless SK has gotten faster than last year wont happen. They could not handle SC speed.
  11. The question is "Is SK building one of the top programs in the state" not are they one of the top programs in the state. Only time will tell. It takes good planning, good athelets, good feeder programs, good training program and one of the most important good fan support. When you have these things in place then you start building and making decisions for the future.
  12. Both teams tried to play each other this year but could not get it worked out.
  13. I think McKee is building a good program and is scheduling teams that should be competitive especially this year. PRP last years runner-up 6A, John Harden good 5A school normally. As of late the weakest teams have come from the Lexington area. Look for SC to start scheduling some out of state schools. I dont think he will next year but with-in the next 3 years. McKee has learned alot and is building a good program and not just playing year to year with 20 or so players. He is now platooning which just happened last year and is also now platooning in Frosh. football team. His day will come when he will successfuly compete with any team, and watching them now that day is getting closer and closer. Yoou need to give credit where credit is due. Scott Coounty before he came had a tough time fielding a team.
  14. When you talk about this subject we should be talking about Football Programs with tradition and when you think of Scott County, our tradition is young and just starting. Mckee has been in the program now for 17 years he has earned repect along with the program but to say we are part equal to X and T's program or tradition, no we are not yet but looks like we are trending in that direction. I am a big fan of the program
