Can't do it. Although I'm a Cooper fan I tend to be a little more realistic lol. I think this game comes down to the guys up front and SK's line is too big I fear. A cooper win would be huge though and I will be right there pulling for them until the final whistle but I'm not making a prediction this game.

Just when I thought I would never agree with anything you say, I find myself saying you are right on here. Cooper can not continue to play the same 14 to 15 kids for four quarters and expect to be alive for a fourth quarter flurry. The boys up front are just too gasses and the lone running back who also plays ML has lost more than just a step by that time. If the jags can jump on SK early and hold on, they have a better chance.

I'm not positive but I think after the Ryle game they started platooning their O- line and D - line except for maybe Newman.

Until Cooper can find a way to stop the run they are going to have a hard time winning. Hard to put many points on the board when you only have like 5 possessions in a game. Defense needs to cause more 3 and outs and get more turnovers. Mistakes are still killing Cooper. Turnover on the 3 yard line. Bad coaching decision to kick the ball to Campbell County with 4 minutes left eliminated any chance to win the game.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but the only lineman that goes both ways is #50 I believe. They were also playing another running back... Not sure what his number was but he was a small quick kid.

 

Boone, Campbell, and now SK all have very big offensive lines. Cooper does not. I have noticed that you are all for Cooper platooning. Who would you replace and with who would you replace them? From what I have heard the junior class is less than impressive are you going to put more sophomores in there over kids who have been in the system for 3 years now? This isn't pee wee football or even freshman or JV ball for the matter. Varsity football the best kids see the field. It's how it was when I played, it's how it was when my father played, and I'm sure that's how it's going to be.

 

As a family member of someone on the team I know that this staff always puts the kids giving the best effort on the field. I'm not sure if you're just a disgruntled parent or what... but maybe you should take matters up with the head coach. You seem to have a lot of good ideas that I'm sure they would be willing to use.

 

I just can't seem to question a group of coaches who in 5 years took a team from new school to state. Must just be Hellbird and myself though.
