"Brossart is VERY underrated"........... THAT IS PUTTING IT LIGHTLY!!!!!!!:thumb:

I agree 100 percent. Brossart could be ranked at number 2 spot.

I'm not a big fan of these polls. You have a guy who does not see all teams play, hears a few names so assumes they must be good players. Than how do you rank teams that have not even played a game or know who will be returning??

But it is a starting point for conversation. I'm glad to see P-county up near the top. I think they will have a very nice ball club and glad to see others mentioning the Antrobus kid as a top player. Can't argue about any of the boys being mentioned, as all are good players. There will be a few that sneak up on the list as the season ends. Nate Losey of Camp. Co. comes to mind as a huge preseason miss last year.

I am happy to say the 10th is wide open this year. I don't think any one or two teams will dominate. That just leaves us with a lot of fun games to watch this year.

Good luck to all teams and players. Stay healthy young men!

10th region used one person's opinion. 12th region written by Les Dixon, last year used a coaches poll of ranking the teams and players. I assume he did the same this year. As I mention in a eariler post, I like Mr. Dixon's approach much better. 11th region, used a Cats' Pause writer, man that region rankings and players are VERY debatable.

Like you Tac, it gives us somthing to talk about during the off season. We will have to visit this thread at the end of the year and see who was ignored and others that were over-ranked.

Like you, I feel the region is wide open this year, and should have some really great games and great post season.

Why I like how some writers will have a coaches poll of the teams and players to be listed.

I vote for Goldsunrise to write for CatsPause:popcorn::deadhorse:

Let's be real here. There's not a soul on this site, or on this planet who would compile a ranking that wouldn't be picked apart by someone who disagreed. Especially in this region.

What comes after 8th...and before 10th??? (Pretty please?)

Winner winner, chicken dinner!

I'm not sure if this is considering cheating, but I was with Mustang tonight and he spotted me the answer!

Not at all. I specified "no internet cheating"; other methods of arriving at the correct answer simply demonstrate resourcefulness on your part.

Next time you're in Maysville shoot me a PM and I will indeed treat you to a chicken dinner.

I think you are correct on both counts. There will in all probability be a couple of teams that pleasantly surprise, a couple that disappoint. There will be a couple of players that come from nowhere. And it will be the first time in years that either Mason Clark or County aren't prohibitive favorites to get to Rupp.

No players from GRC or Mason Co...wow....do I disagree....
